  • There are some sources that claim that Mary was the daughter of John Rolfe and Mary Scullard. She and her husband Benjamin were said to be born in Woodbridge, New Jersey around 1681. The problem is that Mary Rolfe, daughter of John and Mary Rolfe, was born over two decades earlier in Newbury, Massachusetts. It seems highly unlikely that the Mary who married Benjamin Dunham and Mary Rolfe, daughter of John Rolfe, are the same person.
