  • Henry Washburn appears to have been the one who signed a deed in Plymouth County, Massachusetts 12 JAN 1753, son of Benjamin Washburn and Bethia Kingman. He would have been born, probably at Bridgewater, prior to 1732 based on the age needed to have signed the deed.

    The Henry who married Sarah Battles was born about 1720 based on the date of his marriage and the age of his wife. Although Henry was married in Hingham where Sarah was probably born, the births of their children were recorded at Bridgewater from 1742 to 1760.
