  • Some published sources give Esther Joslin's parents as John and Lucy (Wilder) Joslin. However, this would appear to be incorrect as Esther was born MAR 1729, while John and Lucy were not married until 1733. Other sources give her parents as Peter Joslin and Alice Woods. Peter may have been a brother of John. Evidence is needed to support this latter claim.
