  • Joseph Duckworth was killed in a motorcyle accident in 1929 at the age of 25. He was riding his motorcycle at about 9 in the evening on a stretch of road that was under construction. Although there were no witnesses to the accident, he is believed to have crashed into a steam shovel and thrown from the bike into a pole crushing his skull.
