    Richard Ingram is often said to have a wife named Elizabeth, daughter of Alexander Wignall. This undocumented claim apparently originated from Raymon Meyers Tingley's Some Ancestral Lines published in 1935. According to Robert Charles Anderson in his The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England 1620-1633 (3:1986), "Nothing is known about the wife of Richard Ingraham, and this whole construction apparently derived from Tingley's imagination." So, Richard Ingram's wife should be considered unknown.
