  • Some sources claim that Robert Sedgwick came to New England aboard the Truelove in 1635. The man who enrolled as a passenger on the ship was named John Sedgwick and not Robert. Some sources claim the name was actually listed as "Jo." In any case, it seems to be unproven that Robert Sedgwick was the man on the ship.
