  • George Jacobs was executed on Gallows Hill in Salem, Massachusetts, during the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. His son George Jacobs Jr., his daughter-in-law Rebecca Andrews, and his granddaughter Margaret Jacobs were all accused of witchcraft, however only George Jacobs Sr. was executed.

    George Jacobs may have been the son of George and Priscilla Jacob of Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England.
