Marjorie Taylor Greene is an American politician and businesswoman who was born on May 27, 1974, in Milledgeville, Georgia. She grew up in a small town in Georgia and attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in business administration. After college, Greene worked in the family construction business and later started her own company.
In 2020, Greene became involved in politics and ran for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia's 14th congressional district. She won the Republican primary and went on to win the general election, becoming a member of the 117th Congress.
Greene has gained national attention for promoting right-wing conspiracy theories. She has also made controversial statements about various ethnic and religious groups and has been criticized for promoting racist and anti-Semitic views.
Despite criticism from both Democrats and Republicans for her extreme views, Greene has remained a vocal and influential figure in the Republican Party.
