    Warren Graves died from disease while in the army in Virginia. Poplar Grove National Cemetery records state that he was originally buried at Avery's Farm. Records disagree on his exact date of death with Poplar Grove National Cemetery records giving 18 JUL 1864 and the death register for Wisconsin volunteers compiled by the Adjutant General's Office gives it as 29 AUG 1864.
