    • This Nora (Perkins) Edwards, daughter of Cicero Perkins and wife of Roy Edwards, should not be confused with the Nora (Zachary) Edwards, daughter of James Zachary and wife of Elmer Edwards. Both Nora Edwards were born in JAN 1902 and are often confused in online genealogies, especially those associated with the movie actor George Clooney. The former died in 1947 while the latter in 1987.

      I believe the reason that the two Nora Edwards are often confused is because Roy Edwards remarried a Genora Harris after his first wife died in 1947. Ironically this Genora Edwards died in 1987.

      Nora's father Cicero Perkins died a few months after she was born. Her mother remarried to a Robert L. Gray.
