  • Dorchester vital records give Elizabeth's death date as 04 SEP 1722, her tombstone gives it as 12 SEP 1722, and other sources reportedly state 19 SEP 1722.

    Some sources give Elizabeth Smith's father as John Smith of Dorchester, but John Smith did not marry Katherine Morrell until 01 AUG 1647. This marriage date is only four months prior to Elizabeth's baptism, so it seems unlikely she was the daughter of John Smith. This leave Lawrence Smith of Dorchester as the probable father of Elizabeth.
