  • Comfort Brewster's mother is unknown. Ebenezer's wife Elizabeth DeWolf was most likely not his mother as she filed for divorce in 1739 after Ebenezer deserted the family. Ebenezer, along with his brother William, moved to Virginia where it appears he started another family. Although born about 1730, Comfort appears to be a child of this other family as he died in Wythe County, Virginia.
