More recent published sources agree with her husband being Adam and his father being Osbert. This agrees with a pedigree submitted in a court case where John Knyvet sued Thomas Freman for the manor of Little Waltham “which Robert Tateshale had given to Adam, son of Osbert Cayly, in frank marriage with Emma, his sister.”
