  • Margaret Plantagenet is the illegitimate daughter of King Edward IV and Elizabeth Wayte. Although most publications give her name as Elizabeth, Gary Boyd Roberts in his The Royal Descents of 900 Immigrants (2018) states that after discussions with Douglas Richardson, author of Royal Ancestry (5 vols., 2013), her name is actually “Margaret (not Elizabeth).”
