  • Suggestions that George Puffer had a son William appear to be false. A circumstantial case was made by Gene Zubrinsky (NEHGS 151:31-37) that George Puffer had a daughter, possibly named Rachel, who married Jonathan Bliss of Rehoboth, son of the immigrant Thomas Bliss. Further evidence is needed to support his theory.
