  • Some sources give Lucy Clark's maiden name as Lord or Taylor. However, there is a First Congregational Church marriage record in Norwich, Connecticut, between Asa Richardson and a woman named Clark in 1787 that would seem to support that Lucy Clark was his wife. (see Norwich VR, 6:153). The timing fits as their first child is born in 1788.
