Famous Descendants of Germanna Colonists
Germanna includes German settlers in colonial Virginia from about 1714 through the 1740s. Colonists included in this category are based on those immigrants who came to the German-speaking frontier settlement, now undergoing archaeological investigation by the Germanna Foundation (www.germanna.org). This category is a work in progress and only includes those colonists with known famous descendants.
