    Who is S.A. Griffin?

    S. A. Griffin (Stephen Allen Griffin) is an American actor and poet based in Los Angeles, known for his work in independent film, television, spoken word, and performance art. His acting credits span several decades and include appearances in films such as Pale Rider (1985), Let It Ride (1989), and Air (2009), along with roles in both past and upcoming projects. On television, he has appeared in various productions, including a few recurring roles on the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives.

    In 1988, Griffin was awarded the Kari Award for Best Actor in Commercials in Canada for his performance in a Molson Canadian advertisement.

    Alongside his acting career, Griffin has been a prominent figure in the American underground poetry scene. He co-founded the Carma Bums, a poetry performance troupe known for its cross-country tours and unpredictable, high-energy shows. His poetic voice fuses beat-era rhythms with punk irreverence and theatrical flair.

    One of his most recognized projects is The Poetry Bomb, in which he converted an inert military practice bomb into a mobile archive of poems submitted by writers around the world. He toured the U.S. with the bomb as a symbol of peace and creative resistance.
