- Notes:
This William Kemp was of Duxbury in 1639. In early publications he is said to be the William Kemp who came over as a servant aboard the James in 1635. However this is no longer believed to be the case. The earlier William Kemp is now believed to have been a different man. More research is needed to further clarify the possiblity of two William Kemps.
