William Morgan is believed to be the name of the father of three brothers who came to New England by 1640. They were James, John and Miles Morgan. James settled in New London, Connecticut. John is said to have moved on to Virginia shortly after arriving. Miles headed west with Col. William Pynchon and help found Springfield, Massachusetts.
