    Published sources do not agree on the name of Timothy Clough's wife and mother of his children. Some give it as Susie or Susan Orcutt, possible daughter of Daniel and Lydia (Cushman) Orcutt., while other give it as Lucy, maiden name unknown. While the Mayflower Society appears to have accepted membership applications with Susie Orcutt as the wife, their Silver Book series does not accept her parentage which would give her a descent from Mayflower passenger James Chilton.
