  • There was reportedly an account of William and Ellen Hoskins's family arrival at Baltimore in 1784 and how members of this family, including William and Ellen, succumbed to "a disease or epidemic resembling flux, probably brought on by the sufferings of the voyage." This account of the events is said to have been given to the Delaware County Historical Society by Curtis and Anna Hoskins.
