- Notes:
Thomas Cornell's first wife often appears in published genealogies as Elizabeth Fiscock based on a Dutch Reformed Church marriage record dated 02 NOV 1642, and some baptisms found in the same church. However it has not been proven that these two Thomas Cornells are the same one. In fact some researchers have argued against it being the same Thomas. Unless further evidence is found to support it, the maiden name of Thomas's first wife is still considered to be unknown.
