- Notes:
While some believe it was Henry Kinne Jr. that participated in the Salem Witch trials as a complaintant, the evidence seems to favor this Henry. Even historian Mary Beth Norton in her 2002 book "In the Devil's Snare: The Salem Witchcraft Crisis of 1692," believes it was Henry Sr. based on the index at the back of her book. Henry was one of the accusers of Martha Corey and Rebecca Nurse in March 1691/92. Also see Bernard Rosenthal's "Records of the Salem Witch-Hunt," (pp. 142, 157).
