  • Sarah has been claimed to be the daughter of Edward Burgess and Mary Davis, however, the D.A.R. says that they have “evidence in hand” that indicates Sarah's maiden name was actually Davis. The D.A.R. still claims that Sarah is related to the Burgess family. More evidence is needed to find the correct relationship of Sarah to the Burgesses.
