John Beaman's name is also seen as John Clark Beaman.
Robert Charles Anderson, in his The Great Migration series, says the following about John Beaman.
Since John was married by the mid-1670s, he would have been born no later than the early 1650s. This would make him about the same age as the older children of Gamaliel Beamon, but there is no evidence that he belongs in this immediate family. His presence in both Dorchester and Lancaster does suggest a connection with Gamaliel Beamon, however, and if John is not an elder son of Gamaliel, he is very likely a kinsman of some degree.
