  • Susanna Olmstead is not listed among the children of Joseph and Mehitable (Warner) Olmstead in the Olmstead Genealogy (New York, 1912) or Families of Old Fairfield (Baltimore, 1976, 1991). However, The Monroe Book (Franklin, NC, 1993) does list her as a daughter, but provides no evidence. More research is needed to further support this conclusion.
