The case for Hannah Rood's parentage is circumstantial. Evidence is needed to support the claim. Many online family trees claim Hannah Rood married Jonathan Treadway in 1777 at Lebanon, Connecticut. If true, this would certainly be a major piece of evidence to help support the claim. Unfortunately, no marriage record has been found.
