Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Brewster developed a passion for acting early in life and pursued her dream with determination.

      She began her career in the entertainment industry in the 1950s, making her mark with notable appearances in various television series. One of her early breakthroughs came with her role as Samantha Crawford in the popular western series "Maverick" (1957-1962). Her portrayal of the sultry and cunning character earned her recognition and established her as a talented actress in the television landscape.

      Diane Brewster's talent and versatility were further showcased in her role as Miss Canfield, the teacher, in the iconic family sitcom "Leave It to Beaver" (1957-1963). She's also known for her role as Richard Kimball's murdered wife in the TV series "Fugitive" (1963-1967).
