  • Some published sources state that the mother of Olive Adams was Mary Sanderson, an adopted daughter of John Sanderson and Hannah Stratton, who married a John Adams in 1743. However, they also state that Mary Sanderson was born about 1690 as she was said to be 96 years old at her death in 1786. This would make her about 59 years old when Olive Adams was born. So it would seem that Mary Sanderson was not the mother of Olive Adams.
