- While some believe it was Henry Kinne Jr. that participated in the Salem Witch trials as a complaintant, the evidence seems to favor this Henry. Even historian Mary Beth Norton in her 2002 book "In the Devil's Snare: The Salem Witchcraft Crisis of 1692," believes it was Henry Sr. based on the index at the back of her book.
