There is both a birth and death record recorded in the Newton, Massachusetts, town records for a John Hunt, son of Samuel and Mary Hunt. Researchers seem to discount this as being the same John Hunt who birth record is recorded in the Boston records. Perhaps this is because of the baptism record found for John Hunt in Boston later that year. More research is needed to explain the Newton records.
