- Notes:
Minerva Hubbard's given name is also see as Minervy.
Many online genealogies give Job Hubbard and Hannah Brooks as the parents of Minerva Hubbard. This cannot be correct as Job Hubbard and Hannah Brooks were married 26 NOV 1807 at the First Congregational Church of Haddam, Connecticut. Minerva's first child was John Harvey Selleck, Jr., born in 1819. Minerva is listed as his mother on the birth record. So Minerva had to have been born prior to 1807. Census records all put Minerva's birthdate at about 1800, seven years before Job Hubbard and Hannah Brooks were married.
