  • Ephraim Pratt's tombstone erected by the town of Shutesbury gives his birth date as 01 NOV 1686 and his age as 117 when he died. However, birth records found in Sudsbury give his birth date as 30 NOV 1704. He still lived to a ripe old age of 99, but a far cry from the more improbable 117.
