Anna Dissinger's maiden name is also seen as Deisinger.
Gary Boyd Roberts published that John Peter Eisenhauer's third wife's name was probably Maria Susanna Dissinger, daughter of John Eberhart Dissinger and Anna Catherine Meyer. Roberts cites research performed by Clarence Melvin Stone, Jr., but he does not cite what this research entails other than being partially based on History of the Dissinger Family, 1660-1930(1931) by James L. Dissinger.
Other sources, including the Sons of the American application for General Dwight David Eisenhower, give Anna Dissinger's name as Anna Margaret Dissinger (or Deisinger), daughter of Peter Dissinger.
Further research is needed to try and prove or disprove these claims.
