Nathaniel Wilder and Daniel Hoar were sentenced to be hung for killing an Indian who had surrendered during King Philip's War. After paying “prison chardges and tenn pounds apeece money” they were pardoned by the court.
Nathaniel Wilder was killed by Indians in 1704.
