  • Some sources state that Thomas was the son of John and Sarah Holbrook (John being the son of Thomas Holbrook the immigrant). This is unlikely as John would have been a young child about the time of Thomas's birth. Other sources say that Thomas was the son of John Holbrook, a brother to the immigrant Thomas Holbrook. Robert Charles Anderson disputes this claim in his book "The Great Migration: Immigrants to New England 1634-1635" (Vol. III, G-H, Page 353).
