    • There were two men named William Lovejoy who had children baptized in Caversham and Sonning between 1613 and 1630. One was married to a Anne White and the other to a Margret “Suat.” It is uncertain as to which William was the father of which children as the mother was not identified in the baptismal records. However, children of one of the men were John Lovejoy and Grace Lovejoy. They are identified as siblings due to the fact that both appear next to each other on the passenger list of the ship Confidence which sailed to Massachusetts in 1638.
