    • Notes:
    • This Phebe Horton is often confused with the woman of the same name who married Henry Tuthill. She also is not the daughter of David and Mary (Horton) Horton. The parentages of the two Phebes are often given incorrectly in published genealogies.

Phebe Horton's given name is also seen as Phoebe.

Phebe's brother-in-law makes a reference to Phebe and her husband Constant King in a letter dated 05 APR 1782 that is referred to as "The Little Book." In it he mentions his wife Hannah's siblings and includes a reference regarding Constant King and Phebe Horton referring to them saying, "Their Mosaic days are out for they are three score and eleven [age 71] next June." He also refers to Phebe as the first born of the family.
