  • There is some disagreement as to the parents of Anna Knowlton, wife of Amos Atkinson. She may have been the daughter of Joseph and Rachel (Patch) Knowlton who was born at Wenham, Massachusetts, 07 OCT 1764, however, her tombstone inscription states that she died "Nov. 13, 1845, The day she completed her 83 year." This would give her a birth date of 13 NOV 1762. Also, she may have been the daughter of John Atkinson who was baptized at Newbury, Massachusetts, 22 NOV 1761.
