Who is Linda Ronstadt?

Linda Ronstadt is an American singer and songwriter. With many of her albums having been certified gold, platinum, and multiplatinum, she has won numerous awards including multiple Grammy, American Music, and Country Music Awards. In 2011 the Latin Recording Academy gave her the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and in 2014, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2016, the Recording Academy gave her the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2021, Linda has announced plans to publish a new book exploring her Mexican heritage.

Linda Ronstadt is the granddaughter of Lloyd Groff Copeman, an American inventor who is said to have been one of the most prolific inventors with over 700 patents to his, and his wife’s, names. His inventions include the first heat-regulated stove and the first flexible ice cube tray.
