Mary Gooding was a prolific Mayflower descendant. In 1913, Mary was a clerk in the registry of probate at Plymouth, Massachusetts. She sent in her first membership application to join the Mayflower Society in June 1911 documenting a descent from Gov. William Bradford. Just over one year later in August 1912, Mary followed that initial application with the submission of an astounding thirty six supplemental applications documenting additional descents.
