Who is Amanda Bearse?

Amanda Bearse is an American actress, director, and producer, best known for her role as Marcy D'Arcy on the hit television show "Married... with Children." Born on August 9, 1958, in Winter Park, Florida, Bearse began her acting career in the 1980s, appearing in a number of television shows and films.

In 1987, she was cast as Marcy D'Arcy on the popular sitcom "Married... with Children," which ran for 11 seasons and became one of the most successful sitcoms of its time. Bearse's portrayal of Marcy was widely praised and she became a fan favorite, appearing in over 200 episodes of the show.

In addition to her acting career, Bearse is also an accomplished director and producer, having directed several episodes of "Married... with Children" and other television shows, as well as producing a number of television specials and documentaries.
