Who is Austin Butler?
Austin Butler is an American actor, singer, and model, born on August 17, 1991, in Anaheim, California. Butler's breakthrough role came in 2007 when he starred in the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101" as James Garrett. He then went on to appear in several other TV shows, including "Ruby & The Rockits" and "Switched at Birth." In 2019, he landed the lead role of Wil Ohmsford in the Netflix series "The Shannara Chronicles."
Butler has also appeared in several movies, including "Aliens in the Attic," "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure," and "The Intruders." He has also worked as a model, appearing in campaigns for brands such as Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. More recently, Butler was cast as Elvis Presley in the film "Elvis" which premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival where the film received a twelve minute standing ovation at the end. Butler has been nominated for numerous awards for the film, many of which he has won.
In addition to acting, Butler is also a talented musician and has released several singles and music videos. He has stated that music is his first love and that he hopes to pursue it further in the future.
