Who is Zach Braff?
Zach Braff is an American actor, director, and screenwriter, born on April 6, 1975, in South Orange, New Jersey. His breakthrough came in the early 2000s when he starred in the popular TV series "Scrubs," playing the role of Dr. John Dorian (J.D.). He received critical acclaim for his performance and was nominated for several awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award.
In addition to his acting career, Braff has also directed and written for both television and film. He wrote and directed the independent film "Garden State" in 2004, which also was nominated for several awards. including winning the Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack Album in 2005. Braff has also directed the feature films "Wish I Was Here" and "Going in Style." Among his more recent projects is the writing and directing of the feature film "A Good Person" starring Morgan Freeman.
Braff has continued to act in both television and film, with notable roles in "Cheaper by the Dozen," "A Little White Lie," and "Alex, Inc." He has also appeared on stage both on and off Broadway throughout his career.
