Who is Jon Cryer?
Jon Cryer is an American actor, writer, and producer born on April 16, 1965, in New York City. He began his acting career at the age of 12 in the Broadway production of "Torch Song Trilogy" and went on to appear in several films, including "Pretty in Pink" and "Hiding Out."
In 2003, Cryer landed the role of Alan Harper on the hit CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men," which became his most notable work. For his performance, he received two Primetime Emmy Awards. He has also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work in television.
Cryer has also worked as a writer and producer, co-creating the television series "The Famous Teddy Z" and producing several episodes of "Two and a Half Men."
