Who is Claire Danes?
Claire Danes is an American television and movie actress who is probably best known for her role as CIA operative Carrie Mathison in the Showtime spy thriller television series Homeland. Her first major recognition was on the ABC television series My So-Called Life. Her role on that show won her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 1994. She has since gone on to win numerous awards including Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, MTV Movie, Primetime Emmy, Critic’s Choice and a number of other awards. In 2015, she was awarded a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
