    Austin Bearse and his wife Hannah Stetson allegedly had two sons, William Bearse, and a younger brother also named William. These two sons are mentioned in a couple of the Mayflower silver books (see MF5G, 9, Eaton (1996), 63; and MF5G, 10, Fuller (1996), 37). However, no evidence has been found to support that these two sons ever existed. Further sources are needed to confirm these two sons.
