  • Published sources give Hannah Stetson's parentage as Joseph and Hannah (Oldham) Stetson. However, their daughter was born in 1700. Hannah's tombstone would indicate she was born about 1719. Given the age of Hannah's husband Austin Bearse, it would seem the age on the tombstone is most likely correct and that this Hannah was not the daughter of Joseph and Hannah (Oldham) Stetson.
