  • Joseph vanishes from the records after 1652. Walter Davis states that Joseph Langton was an "unpleasant husband" and in 1652 had beaten his wife's baby, little John Cook, in order to keep him quiet. A Joseph Langton appears in Newtown, Long Island in 1656 and dies in 1665. Perhaps this is the same Joseph.
